Hey, NOCO Crew. Like I mentioned on Tuesday, we’re trying something new. Two issues a week. One with stories and one with all your weekly happenings. So, this issue is packed with events only — each one a chance to get out, try something new, and maybe find a little magic in our big NOCO backyard.

I wanted to make this week’s list feel more like real life. Not just a list, but a set of doors you can open depending on what you’re craving — live music, a creative spark, a reason to get outside, or just somewhere for the kids to burn off energy. Find what matches your mood, and your schedule. Days are still there, but now they’re the fine print instead of the headline.

I’d love to hear if this new layout feels right to you — or if you miss the old way. Every reply lands in my inbox, and I read them all. This newsletter is better because you’re part of it.

Grab a coffee, and let’s dig in!

– Megan

(P.S. Stay safe out there. It’s going to be HOT with +100 degree heat on Sunday.)

From Berthoud to the Wyoming state line, Fort Morgan to Estes, each week we pull together a list of the top events happening all over Northern Colorado.

If you'd like to add an event to upcoming NOCO Word issues, hit reply and let us know!

Art in the Park

North Lake Park, Loveland — Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm

For nearly sixty years, neighbors and artists have gathered under the August sun at North Lake Park, turning it into a living, breathing gallery. This isn’t just an event — it’s a tradition woven into the heart of Loveland. More than 275 artisans will be here this year, each one bringing something personal, and something crafted with care. Whether you’re drawn to original paintings, pottery, sculpture, or the handcrafted treasures from regional makers, there’s a corner of the park that will feel like it was made just for you. Grab a bite from a food booth, linger with a local vendor, and let yourself get lost in the creativity all around you.

Admission is free — just bring your curiosity (and please, leave pets at home unless they’re service animals).

A quick tip from someone who’s learned the hard way: parking fills up fast. The Bank of Colorado is making it easy this year with two free shuttle routes looping between several pickup spots. Sometimes the best days start with a little less hassle.

SUBMIT AN EVENT

Running something, or know somebody who is? Hit reply. We’re especially short on Greeley, the smaller Weld towns, and anything east of Highway 85. If it’s happening out there, we want it in here.

Every contribution keeps us out in the field, digging into local history, and showing up for the towns we cover. We're grateful for every bit of support. Thanks for being part of this.
