Hi, NOCO Crew!
If you can't find something to do this weekend, we don't know what to tell you!
Laurel Fest is packing more than 60 bands into three Fort Collins venues, Loveland artists are opening their studios, and downtown Loveland is about to be overrun by zombies. Greeley's got the Philharmonic, Halloween festivities, and Kansas (yes, that Kansas).
And if your weekend is already booked, there's plenty happening during the week, too. Greeley's first Restaurant Week kicks off Monday and there are enough workshops, concerts, and oddball activities to keep just about anyone busy.
Good luck choosing! Grab a coffee, and let's dig in!
– Megan & David

Every contribution keeps us out in the field, digging into local history, and showing up for the towns we cover. We're grateful for every bit of support. Thanks for being part of this.
— Megan & David

From Berthoud to the Wyoming state line, Fort Morgan to Estes, each week we pull together a list of the top events happening all over Northern Colorado. If you'd like to add an event to upcoming issues, hit reply and let us know.
October 16 – 21, 2026
The Biggest Event
Laurel Fest
The Atrium, Avogadro's Number and R Bar, Fort Collins. Friday and Saturday, October 16–17.

More than 60 bands and two days of music packed into the Laurel Street neighborhood. Laurel Fest makes a whole weekend out of walking between stages, finding a new favorite band and catching up with people along the way. Music starts at 4pm Friday and runs through Saturday night. A single $31 weekend wristband covers all three venues on both days.
Five More Worth the Drive

The dance party is 21+, costumes are encouraged, and tickets are $10 general admission or $25 VIP, which adds a visit to the haunted house down the street first. Space is limited.

18th Annual Loveland Art Studio Tour
Various studios (Loveland) — Saturday and Sunday, October 17–18, 11am–5pm
Loveland's artists are opening their doors for two weekends, and you can go see where the work happens. The free, self-guided tour takes you through working studios, pop-up spaces, and galleries, where painters, potters, jewelers, sculptors, and other artists will be showing their work and giving live demonstrations. It's a chance to see the tools, materials, and creative spaces that usually stay behind the scenes.
Pick up a map at the Loveland Museum or plan your route online. The museum's Foote Gallery also has a monthlong preview of participating artists if you'd like to scout a few favorites first. Missed last weekend? This is the last one. The tour wraps Sunday at 5pm.
